Our sympathies to family and friends of Erma Catlin who passed away last week. Funeral services will be held here Saturday, Dec. 15 at 2 pm.

December Shepherding Group: Group 1 with Deacon of the month - Kirk Sandven

The confirmation class is collecting winter items for the Salvation Army. Any winterwear is accepted but our focus is on hats, gloves and scarves. Items need to be new or (clean) gently used. Items may be left in the box in the narthex by December 21st. Monetary donations will be given directly to the Chippewa County Salvation Army.

Order your Poinsettias from Bergen’s Prairie Market (Milan) or Country Floral (Appleton) in memory or in honor of a loved one. Poinsettias will be used to decorate the sanctuary through Christmas, after which, you may take them home. If bringing in a poinsettia on your own, please fill out an information slip (on the counter in the narthex) and leave in church secretary mailbox.

Sunday school Christmas Program will be held Sunday, Dec. 16 during the worship service.

Christmas Eve worship with communion will be at 4:00 pm.

Holiday Craft & Bake Sale at United Methodist Church, Montevideo, will be held Sat., Dec. 15 from 9 to 11 am. Coffee & rolls, crafts and baked goods.

Christmas at Trinity - Come join us to celebrate Christmas, Sunday, Dec. 16 at 4 pm. Two meat meal with all the fixings will follow program. Adults $12 - all tickets sold in advance - call the church office 289-1342 or go online www.trinitychurchappleton.com. Proceeds from the meal will be used for various local missions.

Today we welcome Vicar Gwen Evens as our interim Synodically Authorized Minister.

Today we welcome into our church family through Holy Baptism, Joanna Kathryn Lye, daughter of Tom and Kelsi Lye. Joanna’s sponsors are Jed Lye and Jordon Ahrndt.

Our sympathies to family and friends of Vernette Ehrenberg who passed away November 27. Funeral services will be held here Saturday, Dec. 8 at 2:00 pm with visitation beginning at 12:30 pm.

Mission Support Offering today will go to the St. Martin’s Fund. St. Martin’s provides crisis support for the Montevideo and surrounding areas. Donations may be left in the globe by the sanctuary entrance.

“Coming Home for Christmas,” a 2018 Dinner Theater, presented by Green Lake Lutheran Ministries will be held Dec. 6, 7, 8 & 9 at 5:30 pm and Dec. 8 at 12:30 pm. Join us for a delicious four course meal and an evening of theater and music. Tickets are on sale now for $40. To make your reservations, contact Karen at 320-796-2181 or kpeterson@gllm.org.
